Intro Night
On your first night, you will go through some of the methods and techniques with training as well as some basic principles of learning and behaviour. We also cover basic problem solving and find solutions to common (but sometimes annoying) habits. This night is not part of the grading, and you will be advised which group you will join the next week.

Puppy
A fun and undemanding class, aimed at introducing the handler and dog to the training environment. This class covers basic skills for the dog as well as footwork, voice and lead handling skills for the handler. Focus and attention between both dog and handler is worked on. On week four grading is done and a completion certificate is awarded if successful.

Grade 1
This is where we start to get serious! This class aims at improving accuracy and response times, refining the handlers skills and communication between handler and dog. On week four grading is done and a completion certificate is awarded if successful.

Grade 2
This class adds more skills and lays the foundation for third grade. Accuracy, attention and longer duration in the correct position to prepare both dog and handler for off lead work. On week four grading is done and a completion certificate is awarded if successful.

Grade 3
Adding more advanced skills and polishing existing skills to enable all work to be carried out offlead is the main focus in this class. On week four grading is done and a completion certificate is awarded if successful.

Agility
During Grade 3, there will be the opportunity to get your dog to work with some of the agility equipment. This is not part of the grading but the dog will have fun and may give the handler more insight into the abilities of their dog.
